Program Information:

Conflict in the workplace is normal. It is not the result of leadership failure or poor workplace culture. However, the costs for avoiding and mishandling conflict are extremely high (e.g., employee turnover, halted projects, loss of innovation, or legal action). The first step in managing conflict well is understanding how it starts. Based on key research in the field of conflict management, this presentation provides you with the nine most common situations that provoke conflict in the workplace followed by best practices for de-escalation.
